in the reGISTry
Enroll in the GIST registry,
an observational database
designed to collect data on
patients with GIST.

The GIST registry, known as reGISTry, is a database established by Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation and administered by Covance Inc. Its purpose is to obtain data on the current diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients with GIST in a variety of practice settings.
The reGISTry database captures “real world” practice patterns in:
• Demographics
• Diagnosis
• Management
• Outcomes
reGISTry was established in 2004 and includes data from over 1000 patients from more than 100 centers. Patients will be followed for up to 7 years.
Why enroll your patients in reGISTry?
Physicians who choose to participate in reGISTry help provide new insights into this uncommon malignancy. Reports generated by reGISTry provide valuable perspectives on disease management and outcomes in GIST, and how they are changing over time.
Participants can also gain unique perspective on their own practices, by creating reports that compare their experiences to the aggregate results of all physicians participating in reGISTry.
